The students and teachers of Irish Dance Idaho maintain a grueling schedule, providing power-packed performances for appreciative audiences. The IDI Dancers showcase their talents at Festivals, Highland Games, Markets, Fine Arts Events, Community, Corporate, and Cultural Events, Schools, Retirement Centers, Weddings, Private Parties, and Much More.
Irish Dance Idaho is centrally located in the Treasure Valley, with dance students Irish Stepping it up from Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Mountain Home, and even Emmett where dancers travel at least weekly for technique, ceili, and team instruction. And for those choosing to participate in performances, you never know quite where they will end up! Just try to keep up with the IDI Dancers and their demanding performance schedule!

Irish Dance Idaho located in Boise, remains one of the finest Irish Dance troupes in the Northwestern United States. Focused solely on the performing arts, with a single voluntary distance Feis (competition) held during the year, just to keep their skills sharp.
Irish Dance Idaho is centrally located in the Treasure Valley.
The Irish Dance Idaho dancers of Boise had the rare honor to be invited to compete in Worlds in Germany and qualified to compete in the prestigious National Silver Crown. Heidi and Spencer both won first place in their divisions. But the pinnacle of Irish Step to the IDI Dancers is sharing and building community throughout our beautiful, and appreciative Northwestern area, enhancing the abilities of each individual dancer and helping them to reach their potential in many ways through dance!
Irish Dance Idaho has two teams - BlackThorn and Gold Team - in addition to class levels. All dancers perform if they want to! But the teams carry most performances.
At IDI, we value each dancer and strive for excellence. Team participation, practice, and striving to reach individual and team goals can increase a dancers self-worth, help with balance, rhythm, coordination, muscle control, and even help them to focus and remember better in other areas of their lives. Students ages range from 4 to our awesome adults!

While the honors and awards of Irish Step, or any activity or sport can encourage the participant, and are definitely commendable, the pinnacle of Irish Dance to us is serving in the community - whether dancing or volunteering in some other way. The dancers at Irish Dance Idaho are service-oriented. You will see the IDI Dancers and families throughout the Treasure Valley as volunteers, teachers, medical personnel, professionals serving well in their chosen fields, as students, and at home.

In fact, in keeping with Irish tradition, wigs are discouraged at IDI!
WE DO NOT REQUIRE OUR PARENTS OR DANCERS TO DO ANY TYPE OF FUND-RAISING OR TO BE INVOLVED IN RUNNING THE SCHOOL IN ANY WAY!
