Irish Dance Idaho continues its mission to create a stellar performing experience, not only for the IDI dancers, but for the many audiences that follow them. Under the direction of Rebecca Ingram TCRE, and Assistant Heidi Grigg, dancers are taught and drilled on correct, difficult technique required for traditional and Show-style Irish Step in the Muenster tradition.
The talented IDI dancers continue to delight audiences throughout the Northwest with their rhythmic high energy performances.
Irish Dance Idaho enjoys freedom to express with exclusive traditional and show-style choreography created specifically for the IDI Dancers. They also learn, practice, and perform traditional ceili or party dances originating hundreds of years ago in Ireland.
With weekly practice, the IDI dancers work hard to achieve proper technique, coordination, and muscle memory for incredibly difficult dances, while applying their skills and talents to hundreds of performances year around.
The IDI Dancers showcase their talents at Festivals, Highland Games, Markets, Fine Arts Events, Renaissance Faires, Community, Corporate, and Cultural Events, Schools, Retirement Centers, Weddings, Private Parties, and Much, Much More!
IDI dancers commute to classes from Star, Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, Mountain Home, and Emmett! While performance skills is our focus, not all IDI Dancers choose to perform. There is room for everyone at IDI.
We have a great community of wonderfully supportive parents and families.
