Irish Dance Idaho Has delighted audiences throughout our beautiful states of Idaho and Oregon for the past 5 years. Under the
direction of Rebecca Ingram TCRE ** dancers are taught the correct, difficult techniques needed to master the challenge of Irish Step
and ceili
dancing. With intense weekly practice,
both boys and girls,
work hard to master this challenging, athletic art form,
while
learning performance skills, commitment, and teamwork as their talents develop.

The students and teachers of Irish Dance Idaho maintain a grueling schedule, providing a power-packed
performance
demonstrating both traditional and show style pieces for appreciative audiences. The IDI dancers showcase
their talents at Festivals, Highland Games, Markets, Fine Arts Events,
Community, Corporate, and Cultural Events, Schools,
Retirement Centers, Weddings,
Private Parties,
and Much More.
Irish Dance Idaho even deviated a bit from Irish Step to dance Thriller on Harrison Bouldevard last Halloween,
made up by a Hollywood Make up artist!
! Very fun!

Irish Dance Idaho
Remains one of the finest Irish Dance troupes in the NorthWestern United States. Focused solely on the performing arts,
with a single, voluntary competition held during the year, just to keep their skills sharp. The Irish Dance Idaho dancers
can be found reeling and jigging throughout the Northwestern states.
Irish Dance Idaho is centrally located in the
Treasure Valley
,

Servicing Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Mountain Home, and even Emmett
where dancers travel at least weekly for quality technique, ceili and team instruction.
And for those choosing to participate in performances, you never know quite where they will end up!
Boise? Eagle? Nampa? Caldwell? Emmett? Malad? Mountain Home? Twin Falls? Sun Valley? Burley?
Huntington? Weiser? Murphy? Dayville? Baker City, OR..........
Just try to keep up with the IDI Dancers and their constantly demanding performance schedule!
CONGRATULATIONS!
to our dancers for their Feis scores in Open Championships, Pre-lims, Prizewinner, Novice, and
Beginner Categories and for qualifying to compete in the prestigious
Silver Crown!!!!!

**Rebecca has the honor to be certified through the Association of American Irish Dance Teachers, specifically
through Kenn Brennan on the East Coast. AAIDT - partnered with two world wide organizations -
WIDA based in mainland Europe, and Cumann Rince Dea Mheasa to form the largest independent
Irish dance organization in the world. She now sits on the national board as a co-chair and is the
Northwest Representative. The Irish Dance Idaho dancers had the rare honor to be invited to compete in
Worlds in Germany. But the pinnacle of Irish Step to Irish Dance Idaho is sharing and building community throughout our beautiful,
and appreciative NorthWest!

Class times:
Irish dance can be such a great experience. At IDI, we value each dancer, and strive for excellence.
Team participation, practice, and striving to reach individual and team goals can increase a dancer's self-worth
and help them with their balance, rhythm, and even help them to focus and remember better. There are opportunities
to meet people, to learn traditional dancing carefully preserved from a different culture, combined
with modern Riverdance style.
Student's ages range from 4 to our awesome Adults. The Dancers work hard, and it shows!

Each and every dancer has the opportunity to share their talents through performance! We try to keep our costs
as low as possible to allow families to participate. (Contact us for class pricing). We also have returned to a more traditional,
less fussy costume, rather than the wigs, heavy make up, and very expensive dresses, etc.
We do not require our parents or dancers to do any type of fund-raising,
or to be involved in running the school in any way.

We do encourage active participation in performance because it always enhances the dancer's dancing abilities and
helps them in many ways. But we do not require performance commitment, unless the dancer participates in group dances
on either the Gold Team or Treasures Team.

Comments from some of our Friends:

"Irish Dance Idaho is one of the most talented entertainment groups in the Northwest! I have worked with Shawna and Chris Ingram
for the last two years and I always enjoy working with all the dancers. Their performances are always "high energy"
and the dancers always look like they are having fun. I recommend attending one of their concerts/performances
for a great evening out for the entire family."
James Brown - Event Coordinator
Nampa Civic Center

About Leahy:
A family. A musical group of brothers and sisters, a sound, a style of music, a way of life, a volcanic explosion of talent and energy, intense emotion,
and feral passion.

Leahy is a Canadian powerhouse of eight musical brothers and sisters who have been playing together their entire lives. The band's three acclaimed
CDs-Leahy, Lakefield, and In All Things-have world-wide sales of over half a million copies.

All that audiences need to do to understand the style that has come to be known as "Leahy" is look at their awards-Junos for Best New Group,
Best Country Group, and Best Instrumental Album, the most played folk/roots song in Canada in 2004 and the Socan award for Folk/Jazz
instrumentalist the following year. Their self-titled album rose to number four on the Billboard world music charts and found its
